At Partners in Energy, we love seeing the evolution of solar technology firsthand. Recently, our team had the opportunity to remove a solar system that had been powering a home for over 25 years! In fact, the system was older than some of our apprentices who helped take it down. 😄

Fast forward to today, and modern solar panels are delivering an impressive 440 watts or more per panel—over four times the output!

This increase in efficiency means that homeowners now need fewer panels to generate the same amount of power. Not only are today’s solar systems more powerful, but they also take up less space, are more affordable, and come with longer warranties. Talk about progress!
